AWLA begun its mentoring program in June. This was established in response to an alarming lack of progress for women in the profession over the past ten years. The program involved more experienced practitioners meeting with junior solicitors to discuss career goals and difficulties women may experience on the way.
In November, the Margaret Wilson Scholarship was established.
