The 2025 AWLA Women’s Issues Moot returns this year, continuing our kaupapa of providing a supportive space for female-identifying law students from the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology to develop their advocacy skills and submit on issues of real legal and social significance.
We warmly invite everyone to attend the Grand Final, which will be held in the Historic Courtroom 1 at the Auckland High Court on 8 October. This is an exciting opportunity to see the next generation of female-identifying advocates argue complex legal issues.
In addition, AWLA will host a Mooting Workshop open to all law students, whether or not they are participating in the competition. The workshop will take place at AUT on 22 September.
