Flexible Working Event Update

On Thursday the 18th of August the Robert Walters National Legal Team partnered with Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association to host a fantastic event on flexibility for women in law. We invited panelists Emma Peterson (Employment Partner at Russell McVeagh) Natalie Harre (Principal at AJ Park) and Jennifer Murphy (General Counsel at REANNZ) who are all currently working flexibly to talk through their experiences and managing those conversations around flexibility with their team and managers. It was an inspiring event and great to hear that so many firms and in-house teams are becoming more flexible so we can keep lawyers in the profession long-term, however, all agreed that there is still work to be done across the profession so you have to set your own boundaries and stick to them!

If you would like to know more about the event or just have a general chat about the market, feel free to reach out to Robert Walters legal team.
