You are warmly invited to come together with other members of the profession in South Auckland Judges, practitioners and stakeholders as we acknowledge and celebrate Dame Ranjna Patel DNZM QSM.
Dame Ranjna was recently appointed a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to ethnic communities, health and family violence prevention. In 2014 Dame Ranjna founded Gandhi Nivas, a family violence prevention programme which has established emergency houses throughout Tāmaki Makaurau for men who have committed or are at risk of committing family violence. This has positively impacted over 6,000 families across Auckland, so far. We look forward to celebrating this achievement with Dame Ranjna.
